The Canon PowerShot A560 was presented in January of 2007, as among the lower-end models in the A-series lineup. It is a near-twin upgrade of the A550 model that arrived onto the market somewhat before it, but as we will see, the Canon A560 in reality features a number of worthy enhancements comparative to the 550 model. While classified and priced as an entry-level camera, the A560 takes fine, high-resolution shots, has a nice 4x zoom lens, and is rather easy to employ. The user interface is uncluttered and clean, the combination of no-nonsense mode dial and simple Function menu attaining it easy to get to the functions you will apply most frequently. There is also a really good movie mode for compiling "video snapshots" at quality levels as high as 640×480 pixels and 30 frames/second. |

The Canon PowerShot A460 digital camera has a 2.0 inch 86,000 pixel LCD display and a resolution of five megapixels – up from last year’s 1.8 inch LCD A430 and its 4 megapixel. The Canon A460 features a progressively rare optical zoom viewfinder along with Canon-branded 4x optical zoom lens. The digital camera market is jam packed with dirt-cheap digicameras, but there are only a few in this under-$150 range that I’d recommend to just about anybody. The Canon PowerShot A460 is just such a camera. Its 5-megapixel sensor is more than sufficient for the average snapshooter wanting to produce 4×6 and 5×7 prints. The Canon A460’s size and shape are easy to bring along, and its apply of two AA batteries attains it a comfortable selection, since compatible power is accessible anyplace. |

The most recent model in Canon’s best-selling line of image-stabilized superzoom cameras, the 8-megapixel Canon PowerShot S5 IS is alike to its predecessor, the 6-megapixel PowerShot S3 IS (Canon hopped a number so there is no S4). The Canon PowerShot’s S5 IS voluminous feature set united with its image-stabilized 12x optical zoom lens will delight photographers who desire a solidly made and capable non-DSLR camera with all the whistles and bells. Apart from the omission of a RAW mode, the Canon S5 IS is among the more competent megazooms on the market. Easy access to setting changes and external controls add to the Canon S5’s appealingness, as does its first-class movie mode with stereo sound. The Canon S5’s semi-manual and automatic functions will be satisfying to snapshooters searching to develop and/or step up their photographic skills. |

The Canon PowerShot S3 IS is the latest in a highly popular line of long zoom cameras, following the 5.0-Mp S2 IS, the 3.2-Mp S1 IS, and the 2.6-Mp Pro90 IS. The long-zoom digital camera market is turning pretty packed these days, so it adopts a lot for a product to truly stand out. In spite of the stiff competition tho’, the Canon PowerShot S3 IS is indeed a standout product. Establishing upon the already really popular S2 IS model, the Canon S3 IS demonstrates considerable advances. Concurrently, the first-class image stabilization system has been conducted forward, and image quality is really great. Taken as a package, the Canon S3 IS is one good digital camera, and one that’s a lot of fun to apply besides. |
